Creating a Read-Only API Token:

Log in to your Cloudflare Dashboard
Click your profile icon (top right) > My Profile
Select API Tokens from the left sidebar
Click Create Token
Use the "Read all resources" template, or create a custom token with:
- Zone - Zone Settings - Read
- Zone - Zone - Read
- Zone - DNS - Read
Set Zone Resources to All zones (or specific zones)
Click Continue to summary > Create Token

Security Note: Your API token is encrypted and stored securely. We only use read-only access to analyze your configuration.

Cloudflare Account ID (Optional)

Required for Cost Explorer. Auto-detected if not provided. How to find your Account ID

Finding Your Cloudflare Account ID:

Log in to your Cloudflare Dashboard
Select any website/domain from your account
On the right sidebar, look for the API section
Your Account ID is displayed there (32-character string)
Click the copy icon to copy it to your clipboard

Tip: The Account ID is the same for all domains in your account. You only need to find it once!
